Debosmita Majumder is a Communications Specialist with over 11 years of work experience in the industry. Her fields of experience span from Public Relations and Marketing Communications to Corporate Communications and Brand Communications. She has worked across various markets and sectors including lifestyle, healthcare and sports with a special focus on understanding consumer behavior.

Since August 2015, Debosmita has been the Senior Manager Marketing at the Global Footwear Brand PUMA in India where she handles the marketing and communication for all categories including Running, Training, Teamsport, Motorsport and Sportstyle. She is currently based out of Bangalore.

Prior to that, from May 2014 to August 2015 Debosmita was the Corporate Communications Manager at Sony Six and Kix. She has also previously worked with 3 major Global Public Relations agencies including MSL India (September 2012 to May 2014), Weber Shandwick (from December 2011 to July 2012) and Genesis Burston-Marsteller (from October 2006 to December 2011)

Debosmita holds a Masters degree in English Literature from Jadavpur University, Kolkata as well as a Masters degree in Communication from Xaviers Institute of Communication, Mumbai. She has also played lawn tennis at a national level and this experience really helped her to apply the learnings way beyond the tennis court.

Debosmita is extremely passionate about sports. She is also an avid traveler and a food enthusiast at leisure.
