Mandira Bedi is an Indian actress, model, television presenter. She gained celebrity status by playing
the title role Shanti on India’s first ever daily soap on India's national channel, Doordarshan in the
1994 television serial, Shanti. She has presented many award functions and hosted shows in the
fashion and television industry. Bedi has also been a part of the jury for many prestigious award
functions. Mandira has also hosted ICC Cricket World Cups in the years 2003 and 2007, the
Champions Trophies in the years 2004 and 2006, and the Indian Premier League season 2 for Sony
Max.
