Shiv Karan Singh is amongst one of the most recognised restaurateurs in the country today. Once in the readymade garment business (he was the VP of Provogue), he is now better known for his role in the success of many of Delhi’s best restaurants. During his tenure with Impresario Entertainment and Hospitality, Mocha, Smoke House Grill, Smoke House Deli, and Shroom became buzzwords for cool under his watch.

In 2013, Shiv branched out to create his own brand and brought to the foodies of Delhi what has come to be known as Smokey’s BBQ and Grill. The journey which started with a single restaurant has now transformed into a multi brand empire with two upcoming projects, “CIRCUS” and “TANDDAV”. A pioneer in his field, Shivkaran with these two new “kids on the block” will revolutionise the way delhi dines with one of a kind experience, through innovation in cuisine and out of the box entertainment. The chain of restaurants has won numerous awards since its inception including the prestigious ‘Times Food & Nightlife Awards’ for ‘Best Cocktail and Best Restobar’. Armed with fifteen years of experience in the Hospitality industry and a wicked sense of humour he can charm you over a glass of wine at his restaurant and just as easily drill down the economics of running a brand in the Capital. His passion for food and keen eye for detail has made him a mentor for many in the restaurant business.

Over the last decade and a half, he has created many new concepts and earned the admiration and respect on the Indian Hospitality Industry. When not busy paving the way forward for his company, he spends his time counselling as an active member on the Advisory Board of one India’s biggest food festivals.
