Description about the project

In keeping with the Rise philosophy, Mahindra Truck & Bus Division also introduced the Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan in early 2014 to award scholarship of Rs. 10,000 to promising daughters of HCV drivers. Taking its engagement of education of the girl child one step forward, Mahindra Truck & Bus Division launched an essay competition for the 1108 Mahindra Saarthi Abhiyaan scholarship awardees. The girls had to pen down their thoughts for their hero – their father. The event also saw the launch of a book on case studies on the business of transportation. This book, published in association with IIM-A, is a selection of case studies by participants of Mahindra Truck & Bus Division’s MPOWER and WAR ROOM programmes conducted jointly with IIM-A, and is a roadmap to conducting business successfully in the transportation ecosystem.
